Thoughts – Keeping His Amazing Ways Fresh on the Mind

Today’s Reading: Philippians 4:2-9

Today’s Verse: Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Philippians 4:8 KJV

Every time I think about Jesus. About everything He has done for me, I feel so good. I cannot help but to give Him praise.

He has given me joy in the time of sorrow. He has always been my hope for tomorrow.

Any time I feel lonely, I know I can call Him. He always hears me. When my spirit gets hungry, He feeds me. I can always go to the Word and get something filling.

What a friend we have in Jesus. All our sins and grieves to bear. What a privilege to carry everything to God in prayer.

As His children, we all have the ability to seek Him any hour of the day.

Today’s passage encourages us to focus our thoughts on positive things.

It is not just about our outward action. It involves our inner actions also.

Christian living is a life full of faith. A life of righteousness. A life that conforms to God’s will.

We exhibit a wholeness, sincerity, honesty, and love.

We are committed to walking in a way that pleases God. Even when we are faced with difficult choices.

He wants us to dwell on whatever is true, and honorable. All the things that are excellent and worthy of our praise.

That would be everything that God has blessed us with.

When we focus on these areas, we can align our thoughts with God’s will. We promote a positive and uplifting environment in our lives.

It is helping us create healthy and Christ-like mindset.

The Father wants us to understand the differences between what is good and what is harmful to our lives.

He wants us to build a mindset that reflects Christ’s character.

Christ in us shapes and changes our character in many ways.

We are filled with the Fruit of the Holy Spirit. We are filled with love, joy, and peace. We also show patience, goodness, and kindness. A life of faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22 KJV).

God’s power is working within us. Allowing us to accomplish far more than what we can imagine or ask for. He is a great Provider.

His doctrine and life go hand in hand. It is our way to have the God of peace with us.

“If there be any praise, think on these things.”

A WORD OF PRAYER

Thank You Heavenly Father for Your saving Grace. You woke us up this morning and started us on my way. You put food on our table. We truly know You are able. Your grace and mercy always bring us through. Without You we would be lost in a world of sin. Salvation is ours because of Your free mercy. We have so much to think about. Thank You for all that You have done in our lives. Thank You for all that You will do in our lives. You deserve all the glory. You deserve all the praise.

In Jesus’ Name we pray, Amen
