Today’s Reading: Psalms 145:1-9
Today’s Verse: Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable. Psalms 143:3 KJV
Recognition is not just about remembering what something looks like.
We use it also to describe when we remember someone. Someone that has done something special. We make the decision to recognize their efforts.
“Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable” (Psalms 143:3 KJV).
This verse speaks of the greatness of God. One that cannot be measured. It goes beyond what we fully understand.
When troubles and temptations come our way, we can go to Him in prayer. In the end, singing and shouting words of grateful praise.
Speaking of His wondrous works of redemption.
When we give recognition to the Lord, we say we see His good works. That we receive all that He is telling us. Showing it through how we live. The reason for continuous praise from all of us.
Because of who He is, we give Him glory. Because of who He is, we give Him praise. Because of who he is we lift our voices in praise. Worshipping Him, because of who He is.
He is Jehovah Jireh, our Provider. Jehovah Nissi, because He reigns in victory. Jehovah Shalom, our Prince of Peace. He is everything we need in life.
Let us continue to worship Him.
Our songs of praise will always express worship and gratitude for all He has done. For all that He will do in our lives. Recognizing that nothing can compare to His greatness.
He is worthy of receiving glory. He is worthy of praise.
He is the Creator of all things.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Father, we know that You are the Creator of all things. That You created them for our pleasure. You are worthy of receiving all the glory, honor, and praise. Through Christ we receive the Word. Words that are filled with Your goodness and grace. Nothing can compare to the love You have shown us. That is the reason for our praise. We thank You for all that You have done in our lives. For all that You will do in our lives. We cannot thank You enough. You are worthy of praise.
