Panic Not – Watch God’s Powerful Voice Conquer All Storms

Read: Psalms 29

The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is full of majesty. Psalms 29:4 KJV

The sights and sounds of a storm can be scary but also fascinating.

In the roar of the thunder and seeing the lightning strikes one can only think about God.

About His Majesty and Power.

When we read Psalms 29, David describes a violent storm.

How it swept over the Mediterranean, swooped down the mountain ranges, rushed through the wilderness and poured out a refreshing rain upon the land.

He reminded us of God’s dominion in the kingdom of nature.

That “the voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is full of majesty” (Psalms 29:4 KJV).

That in the thunder, lightning, and storm, we see and hear His glory.

In his closing, he assures us that the Father was in total control when He sent the flood in judgment.

That He is definitely in total control when the rain comes as a blessing.

That through it all He is working to give strength and peace to His people.

He only wants what is good for our lives.

It is a great comfort to know that our Father loves and cares for us.

The power of the Holy Spirit is greater than any thunderstorm we face in life.

A Divine power that makes us feel safe and secure.

We will experience peace, not panic.

Keep your trust in the Power of God.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Father, there will always be a season of storms. There is no need for panic. You are in control of everything. We put our lives in Your Powerful Hands. Our hearts are filled with boundless joy. Because we know that You love and care for us. That all the storms we face will soon pass over and the Son will continue to shine in our lives. Thank You for bringing us through it all.

In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
