Peace: The Greatest Way to Empower Unity in Faith

Read: Ephesians 4:1-6

Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. Ephesians 4:3 KJV

The Scriptures encourage us to walk as becomes those called to Christ’s kingdom and glory.

This is considered the practice of accepting differences.

To gain the ability to work together despite them.

We all know there are different religious beliefs.

But in the end our unity with Christ is what we all are striving for.

Paul’s words about unity have great meaning.

Something that we all should be trying to accomplish.

He has told us to “(Endeavour) to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace” (Ephesians 4:3 KJV).

To bear one another in love.

Our faith in Christ will always be the unifying factor.

He knew that there would be Christians that would be all over the world.

That they would have separate ways of acknowledging Him.

But they knew that there is only one Christ to put their hope in.

The Savior has paved the way to bring all of us together.

It is up to us to be of one heart.

And one day when the trumpet of God sounds, there will be a shout from heaven.

All in Christ will rise as one to be with Him (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 KJV).

The body of Christ will be united.

We will be one great church.

Joined together to sing praises to our Lord and Savior.

Because of the greatness of the Spirit, we can face any situation with courage.

Knowing that by faith, the Holy Spirit can help us examine the Word.

Learning all we can about how we manage things.

Which gives us the knowledge to grow spiritually.

The ability to recognize the things most beneficial to our lives.

Helping us to grow in love and respect for believers in Christ.

To see other Christians through the eyes of Christ.

Especially with those with whom we may strongly disagree.

There is nothing like the peace we will find.

What a time of rejoicing that will be.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Father, we want to see other Christians just like You. We know that the Savior is our foundation. The Word is what we stand on. You know that no matter our church affiliation, if we truly know You there will be a day when we become as one. But while we wait, let us keep the unity of Your Spirit of peace.

In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
