Our personal agendas consist of a listing of things we want to consider doing.
Things we really need to have done in the course of a day.
They are usually put in the order of importance.
With any agenda, they are subject to change.
That’s how it is with life.
There is nothing wrong with making plans.
We just need to remember that our time is truly in God’s hands.
That the final agenda is determined by Him.
That just like vapors, we cannot say how long the mist will continue to flow.
They eventually vanish in the air.
A prime example why, submission to and dependence on God should be the first thing on all our agendas.
Knowing that we should not put it off because our day may be short and tomorrow may not come.
Don’t let the opportunity to submit and depend on Him vanish.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Lord, let the main things on our agendas be to come to You in prayer. To meditate on Your Word. To examine the things in our lives and make the appropriate changes. Ensuring that we are not doing anything against Your will. Knowing that our time is not like Your time and tomorrow is not promised. That no part of life is out of Your control. Thank You for showing us Your agenda and the ability to make it our personal agenda.
