Today’s Reading: Psalms 29
Today’s Verse: Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness. Psalms 29:2 KJV
Powerful. That is what our God is.
His immense power is a mystery, yet even a child can understand it.
The more we learn about Him we get an answer to our question regarding His power.
We learn how He put the worlds into existences with His voice (Job 38-39; Psalms 33:9; Hebrews 11:3 KJV).
We cannot know how He maintains control over everything (Nehemiah 9:6 KJV).
Also wondering how He planned and fulfilled the lifetime of Jesus. His death paving the way for our salvation (John 1:14; Philippians 2:6-8; Hebrews 2:11-14 KJV).
What we do know is that it is all true.
We “give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name.” We “worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness” (Psalms 29:2 KJV).
The power of God can never be measured. But the more we read the Word it becomes clear enough to understand.
We may not always feel it, but everything God does is clear and powerful.
Through the Lord, we learn how God can do such wonderous things.
The wisdom and knowledge we gain from Him gives us reason to praise and worship Him.
We all can sit back and marvel at how powerful God really is.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Father, we know You are awesome. You reign from Heaven. You are full of wisdom, power, and love. All of which You freely give to each of us. We give You all the glory and honor that is due Your name. Thank You for all the blessings You give us. Especially the Gift of the Lord. We will forever sing praises to Your name. You are powerful!
