Prayer – A Powerful Weapon to be Used in Life

Today’s Reading: Ephesians 6:10-18

Today’s Verse: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints. Ephesians 6:18 KJV

Prayer. Our way of communicating with God.

Faith. It produces a meaningful result.

Prayer without faith is empty. We need both to open the door to a positive connection with God.

We want to feel God’s presence. To see and feel the promises He has for our lives.

Today’s Scripture is telling all believers to “pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests” (Ephesians 6:18 NIV).

It encourages us to be actively engaged in prayer. Always seeking God’s guidance. Receiving His power in all situations.

There is no set time for prayer. We can go to God in prayer no matter the day or hour. Be it public, private, or secret.

They can be prayers of confession. Prayers for mercy. Prayers of thanksgiving. Showing our appreciation for the blessings received.

Praying through the Holy Spirit is the best way. This allows the Spirit to direct our prayers. To act on our behalf.

We get the guidance needed. We allow the Spirit to lead and empower our prayers. To help us when we do not know what to say.

We surrender our will to God.

We must pray, not for ourselves only, but for all saints. We all need prayer.

Prayer is the key. Faith unlocks the door.

We build a deep relationship with God. It gives us a greater understanding of His will and His purpose for our lives.

We can walk in boldness and confidence.

It is our key weapon in spiritual warfare. Our key to winning any spiritual battle.

It can take time for each of us to develop a deeper relationship with the Spirit. Learning to pray in the Spirit.

Keep praying in faith. The Holy Spirit is always working in and through you.

God has a plan for your life.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Father, we know prayer is our best way of communicating with You. Through the Holy Spirit, we get the guidance we need to speak in an understanding way. You are the hope of our salvation. In You we have victory. Through prayer You purify our souls. You keep us from living a life of sin. Your Word is the weapon we rely on. By the power of Your Word we defeat our enemies. Thank You for making our seed to flourish. For our prayers being answered.

In Jesus’ Name we pray, Amen
