Prayer Life and Thanksgiving – Empower Faith in Fascinating Ways

Read: Colossians 1:1-12

We give thanks to God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you. Colossians 1:4 KJV

Encouragement is just one of the calls we have to our lives.

Even the smallest bit of encouragement can be extremely rewarding.

We never know what someone is going through.

There are so many issues in life that can weigh a person down.

They may feel like all hope is gone.

To be a missionary for Christ is rewarding.

There will always be a person that is happy to know that someone cares.

That there is someone who would sacrifice their time to do something nice for them.

That there is someone out there praying for them.

That someone is giving thanks to “God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ” regarding them. (Colossians 1:4 KJV).

That is why it is important for us to do loving gestures that bring feelings of strength, safety, and a sense of well-being.

Never forgetting that even the smallest of things have great meaning.

It will be just like the Apostle Paul sending uplifting messages to the Colossians.

Praying to God for the blessings he know He desires for their lives.

It had great meaning for them to know someone cared about their well-being.

Faith, hope, and love, are the three principal graces in the Christian life.

True Christians know that by faith we are all connected through our Savior.

That faithfulness is characteristic of our relationship with Him.

That it has great meaning in our living a Christian life.

We will always hope for greater things to occur in someone’s life.

To always desire to show love to those around us.

The Word of the gospel will always bring forth the fruit of the gospel.

Those that will only bring a harvest that is plentiful.

It is the Word of truth.

One that arises from the Holy Spirit leading and guiding us.

How wonderful it will be to see all the blessings that will come from our missionary journey.

If you know someone who has suffered a loss.

Take the time to say a little prayer for their strength.

You may even wish to send them a note expressing sympathy.

Where a victory has been won.

Rejoice with them.

Singing praises for all that is being accomplished in their lives.

If you want to encourage a serviceman or missionary, get their information.

Then take the time to send them an encouraging letter or care package.

Remember, even the smallest of things that show love will always have great meaning.

That life will always be full of joy when we obey His commands.

We want to have a long-term relationship with those that need to be inspired.

Loving to see that the prayers of the righteous still have great power.

A power that will always stand the test of times.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Father, there is only truth in Your Word. We know that the prayers of the righteous still have great power. It has the power to show that faith, hope, and love will always abound in our lives. Let us never forget to take a moment to let You lead us and guide us. Knowing that when we do, we will be able to give encouragement to others. Thank You for letting us be a missionary that strives to be a blessing. That through our prayers and thanksgiving Heavenly blessings will always abound in our lives.

In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
