Questions: The Most Powerful Way to Answer Them All

Today’s Reading: 1 Peter 3:8-17

Today’s Verse: But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear. 1 Peter 3:15 KJV

The world is filled with spiritual differences.

We never know when we may come in contact with someone, and the subject becomes one regarding our spiritual differences.

The Lord wants us to be able to defend our religion with meekness. We are not to be afraid of the questions others may ask.

Our only fear is of God.

There is no room for any other fears.

That is why studying the Word is important.

Through it we learn how to bless God.

We learn how to show our faith in Him before others.

Our conduct invites and encourages them to glorify and honor Him.

There will be times when someone will question our faith.

We may not have an answer to every question.

The Father has a considerable number of things for us to learn.

But the experience can be seen as a motivation for us to seek a deeper understanding of the Word.

With technology the way it is today, if they have a moment, we can open up the Bible on our phones.

We can find the verses that relate to their question and give them an answer.

We are not to let anything be a threat to our faith.

Day by day the Lord is teaching us something.

In this passage. The Apostle Paul confirms our need to study the Scriptures.

He is giving us a fair warning about the things we need to do to prepare for the things we are going to face.

He is encouraging us to pursue the wisdom of God through the Scriptures.

He wrote, “But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear” (1 Peter 3:15 KJV).

None of us want to be embarrassed by our lack of knowledge about our faith.

None of us want to fear having to say anything about our walk with the Lord.

As followers of Christ, we need the courage, confidence, and conviction to share our love for Him.

We want to be able to answer any questions.

We want to help others overcome their doubts and fears.

Helping them to acknowledge the hope that is in us because of the wisdom we find through Him.

May we see all of our spiritual encounters as a way to reinforce what we have learned about the Lord.

And about all the ways God has blessed our lives.

With our main purpose of being able to tell others the reason for the hope that is in us.

We know that all our hope comes from the Lord.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Father, we know that we are to sanctify You before others. That our conduct invites and encourages them to glorify and honor You. All our hope is to be in the Lord who gave Himself for our sins. He paid the price on Calvary. He died so that we could live. An everlasting life He has freely given us. May we never forget that He is the answer to all of life’s questions. The more we read the Word, the easier it is to tell others about His wonderful love for us. He is the reason for the hope that should be present in our lives. Thank You Father from the bottom of our hearts.

In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
