When we are dedicated to something, we are devoted to that cause or ideal.
Keeping in mind that our devotion comes with sacrifices.
Sacrifices that are an act of offering something precious.
The surrendering of something for the sake of something else.
As believers, we are to dedicate our lives to God.
The sacrifice needed to show our faith and loyalty to Him.
We have received an abundance of things from Him.
We are still receiving them to this day.
The fruits of His love, mercy and grace are always being manifested.
Therefore we should render ourselves to Him with all that we are, with all that we have, and with all that we can do.
It is not too much to ask when we consider all the blessings God has bestowed on us.
Making the sacrifice of His Son. Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
A sacrifice needed to accomplish the desires He has for we His people.
While we yet live, we should show our gratitude by being willing to give up some things.
By living holy.
By living according to His Word.
A reasonable service we can all give.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Heavenly Father, we are thankful for the sacrifice You made for us. What You ask of us, in no way compares to it. We thank You for allowing us to present ourselves as living sacrifices. To be holy examples of You. Spreading Your Divine Word. We are willing, ready and able. A reasonable service that You deserve from us.
