Remaining Secure in Life – This is the Greatest Way

Today’s Reading: Psalms 119:129-136

Today’s Verse: Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me. Psalms 119:133 KJV

With any order there is an authoritative command. One that gives direction or instruction.

An order can also be a request to be made, supplied or served.

In our Christian walk, we often ask the Lord to order our steps in His Word.

It is our request for guidance and direction as found in Psalms 119:133 KJV.

It is our desire for our path in life to be shaped by God’s teachings.

Always seeking His protection from sin. Keeping steadfast in His will.

Scriptures are our main source of information.

They show us what we were, what we are, and what we shall be.

They show us the mercy and the justice of the Lord. The joys of heaven. The pains of hell.

“Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me” (Psalms 119:133 KJV).

This verse is a prayer for God’s wisdom and strength to be followed in all areas of our lives.

It acknowledges that His Word is the ultimate guide. Without His help, we can easily fall into sin. That we can stray from the right path.

We all desire to be free from the control of sin and temptation. That is why we seek His protection from their influences.

We want to walk worthy, according to His will. Fulfilling the call He has on our lives.

We want to walk and talk in His Word. Letting our praises ring out to Him.

This should be our daily prayer.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Order our steps in Your Word dear Lord. Lead and guide us every day. Send Your anointing Father we pray. Order our steps in Your Word. Humbly we seek Your will. Please continue to look upon us with mercy and grace. The world is always changing, but You remain the same. By the leading of the Holy Spirt, let the words of our mouths be acceptable to You, O Lord. We want to walk worthy and do Your blessed will.

In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
