There are many stages in life that we all go through.
Things that can make us regretful, ashamed, humble or sorry that we did it.
In this chapter, David is showing what he went through, how it made him feel and how he came to repentance.
Just like David, we all have mental replays of the guilt and shame we may be feeling about the things we have done in our lives.
The realization that sin causes a broken relationship with God and the need to repent.
Once we show a true remorse, a desire for atonement, and confess all unto the Lord, we will be forgiven of our sins.
David is our prime example that it is possible.
That there is true repentance when we put our faith in the Lord and abide by His Word.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Thank you Lord for giving us the opportunity to come before You with a tender heart, talk to You about all that we have done and feel. The chance to receive Your Word and repent of our sins. We know that is the only way our faith can abound. Thank You for it all.
In Jesus name we pray, Amen
