The Apostle Paul was on a mission to preach to the Gentiles, but during his journey his heart began to overflow in love for his Jewish countrymen.
The Jews had built their lives on a false foundation.
They refused to come to Christ and receive salvation by faith.
He prayed for their salvation.
The same holds true to this day.
There are individuals who build their lives on a false foundation.
They refuse to come to Christ and receive salvation by faith.
Our mission is to spread the Word and pray for their salvation.
So they, by faith, may receive the blessings of the Lord and be partakers of the perfect righteousness of the promised Redeemer.
But it is only by hearing the Word, as the Word of God is that which will strengthen our faith.
No matter our nationality, we owe our eternal salvation to the Lord, who lived and died for us all.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Lord, how welcome the gospel ought to be to those to whom it is preached! Because the gospel is given, not only to be known and believed, but to be obeyed. Let it be our hearts desire to continue to spread the Word, as Paul did, to unbelievers and encourage those who believe but need a listening ear.
In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
