There is nothing like having a true friend or being one.
You trust and are there for each other in the good and bad times.
True friends that are close and stand up for each other when they are hurting emotionally and physically.
There to show each other love, kindness, generosity and loyalty.
They are honest in what they say and enjoy having fun with each other.
Reminding each other, “As your friend, I am there if you need me.”
As God inspires you, be that kind of friend.
Exhibiting the same true friendship that Christ has shown us.
He loves us and is always there for us.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Lord, we thank You for the friends in our lives. Our ability to be a friend. But it means a lot more to know that we have a friend in You. We are ever so glad that You are by our side in the good and bad times. Thank You for being there.
