Sorrow comes in many forms and is felt all over the world.
We all have had a feeling of deep distress caused by a loss of some kind, disappointments, or other misfortunes.
Each of us handle our sorrows in different ways.
The ultimate way is to look at the life of Jesus and how His heart was at the point of breaking when He thought about what would happen with Jerusalem.
He cried, but then continued to do the work He had come to do. The work of confronting sin, teaching the people and instructing the disciples.
When sorrow is felt, acknowledge it to yourself, to others and to the Lord. By doing so, you relieve your sorrows, because you have opened the doors to the love, comfort, and any help you need from those who care about you, especially the Lord.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Lord, we all have our times of sorrow. We are thankful for the love of support we have from friends and family. But most if all, we are thankful for You and the Word that shows us that You have been through it too and how You handled it. You are the ultimate guider. Thank you for the love, comfort and care.
In Jesus name we pray, Amen
