Sweet Fellowship: This is An Amazing Way to Encourage

Read: Acts 2: 29-42

And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

Acts 2:42 KJV

Christian fellowship is essential to our faith.

It provides us with Divine support.

It provides us with the encouragement needed.

It is good to know it goes beyond Worship Services or Church Bible Study.

We can have a fellowship wherever we go.

Having someone in our lives to speak with is always desired.

That is why it is important that we understand what it means.

That is the Divine message that Peter was preaching to the Jews (Acts 2:29-42 KJV).

He wanted to make sure they understood the need to keep each other in prayer.

That they were to encourage each other to be strong in faith.

String faith will always defeat the temptations that come in our lives.

To be mindful of the company they kept.

Warning them of the troubles to be found when sin prevails in their lives.

That they should pray for those in sin to receive the Lord.

His message was well received.

The people “continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers” (Acts 2:42 KJV).

As Christians, we are encouraged to do the same.

May we never forget that Christian fellowship is important to our spiritual growth.

It will always be one of the greatest blessings a believer can enjoy.

No matter the time of day or night we can learn something.

That we can be there for someone else.

Because there will always be someone who needs a word of encouragement.

Someone who needs to come to know Him.

Remain steadfast in the Word. and support one another.

We all need someone in our lives to express our feelings.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Father, to fellowship is one of the desires You have for our lives. It is essential to our faith. It shows that we want to support and encourage one another. To show love and rejoice with each other for the victories we win. Victories that come when we stop sin from governing our lives. Rejoicing when others come to know You. Thank You for the times of fellowshipping. They really do have an influence in our lives. And it is good to know that it is not limited to Worship Services or Bible Study. It can happen any time of the day.

In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
