The Master’s Wondrous Approval Makes for a Great Reward

Read: Matthew 25:14-30

His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. Matthew 25:21 KJV

There are many things that we desire to do in life.

Things we are dedicated to and have made it a goal to achieve.

We have others that have played a role in our lives.

They give us as much support as they can.

There will always be the one that has had the most influence.

The one we desire to please.

It will always be up to us as to how we manage things.

We work hard to make sure all is well, and all the necessary changes made.

Our joy comes in the end when we know everything that we hoped to accomplish happened.

To hear that one main person give us a good response to what we have accomplished.

That is how we should look at our service for the Master.

He has a call on our lives.

Goals that require us to make an earnest effort to succeed in them.

That at times, we may find ourselves doing more, because we know it will be beneficial in the end.

We know that recognition from others is encouraging.

We are to encourage one another.

But we know in this journey of life the greatest encouragement we could ever long for will come from the Lord.

We want to hear Him say, “Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things” (Matthew 25:21 KJV).

Our positive actions will always bring growth to the ministry.

It is great to know that what we do has an influence on the lives of others.

That the Master is pleased with all our actions.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Father, we want to give our best to You. We want to do those things that are pleasing in Your sight. Doing the things that help to grow the Kingdom. We know when we live by the Word, it will be done. Because of Your Divine grace, nothing we do will be done in vain. We want to hear You say, “Well Done.”

In Jesus’ Name We Pray, Amen
