Development is a process that creates growth, progress, and a positive change.
Plants and humans both go through stages of development.
For plants these stages include juvenility, maturity, flowering and seeding.
For mankind the biological stages include infancy, early childhood, pre-adolescence and adulthood.
Both are watched to see how well they are doing at each stage.
Some can be good and some can be bad.
But we shouldn’t jump to conclusions on the final outcome.
There is always the possibility of change.
The same holds true with our Spiritual development.
The stages are quite like the ones both the plant and mankind go through.
We have our infancy (just surfacing), early childhood (juvenility), pre-adolescence (maturity), adulthood (flowering and seeding).
But each stage of our Spiritual development is different.
We don’t all grow at the same pace or in the same manner.
Just like plants have different varieties, mankind has different backgrounds and cultures.
Mankind is not perfect and we all are at different stages in our lives.
That is why we should not be so quick to judge ourselves and others.
Thanking and praising God that He sees the whole picture of what our final stage will present.
Helping us at every stage of our Spiritual development.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Lord, Thank You for the fact that men are not to be our final judges. That no matter the stage in our lives, You are there. There to help us make the right decisions on how we will grow and prosper. Knowing that it will only happen if we go through the proper stages of our Spiritual development. We want the judgment that You render to be positive.
