This is a Blessing That Really Gives Guaranteed Results

Today’s Reading: Psalms 32:1-2 / Romans 3:21-26

Today’s Verse: Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. (Psalms 32:1 KJV)

In the Chinese language the word righteousness is a combination of two characters.

The top word is lamb, the bottom word is me.

Meaning the lamb covers or is above the person.

In the Bible we read that John the Baptist saw “Jesus coming unto him.

As He was approaching John said, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world” (John 1:29 KJV).

He was acknowledging that Jesus was our covering.

That He was the One who would take care of them.

Jesus was the Lamb that sacrificed His life for us.

“To be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him” (2 Corinthians 5:21 KJV).

That was the beginning of our ability to live a righteous life.

The Father knew that sin was keeping us separated from Him.

That is why He allowed the death of Jesus to be our “cover.”

Giving us a chance to repent of our sins.

And to accept His righteousness.

Making it where we can say, because of His sacrifice, “Blessed [are we] whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered” (Psalms 32:1 KJV).

Let us obey His commandments and seek justice.

Acknowledging “the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ (Romans 3:22 KJV).

Being determined not to let the Savior’s sacrifice be in vain.

Enjoying all the blessings He has in store for our lives.

Living by faith.

One that remains strong the more we strive to live according to His Word.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Dear Lord, the Lamb of God. A gift from Heaven. The One that bore the sins of the world. Because of Your sacrifice we have the ability to have a wonderful relationship with You. The ability to live a prosperous life. Thank You for dying on the cross for us. For always being there for us. For always covering for our sins. We are truly blessed.

In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
