This is An Adoption with the Greatest Life Benefits

Read: Ephesians 1:1-10

Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will. Ephesians 1:5 KJV

Adoption is not only the action of legally taking another’s child and raising them as our own.

Adoption is also the act of choosing to take, follow, or use something that is beneficial to our lives.

We all know what it means to be loved.

To have someone we can look up to.

Those who walk in faith have been adopted.

It was by grace, that God, our Father, has claimed us as His own.

We are redeemed and have a new relationship of trust and love.

Paul has made this clear to us.

He reminds us that we were chosen of God before the foundation of the world.

The adoption was already in the process of being completed.

It was final when Christ died on the cross and redeemed us from our sins.

Giving us the ability to be raised as one of God’s children.

To move into a home where the Father was waiting for us with open arms.

The Father desired that we reap the benefits of being one of His own (Ephesians 1:5 KJV).

All we have to do is accept the love He has for us to make the adoption complete.

Life will be wonderful as we walk by faith and live according to the Word.

All our needs are met.

Without His Spiritual and heavenly blessings misery could overtake our lives.

We were saved by His grace.

Giving us an even greater reason to acknowledge who we are one of His children.

Striving to do Him proud.

Rejoicing that we are a part of the most wonderful family ever known to man.

Singing praises to God for adopting us as one of His own.

He did not have to do it, but I am so glad He did.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Father, we will never forget all that You have done for us. Remembering all the blessings of love, grace, and mercy that You have freely given us. Because of all You have done for us, sin no longer can have a place in our lives. Thank You for taking us in as one of Your own. We sing praises to You for everything You are doing and will do in our lives.

In Jesus’ Name We Pray, Amen
