Read: Romans 14:7-13
Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother’s way. Romans 14:13 KJV
In the world today it is not uncommon for someone to be judged unfairly.
Outward appearances do not honestly say who a person really is.
We do not know all of their circumstances, nor their motives.
What is really in their hearts.
That is why we are not to judge one another.
Only God is truly aware of all the facts.
Only God is aware of what is truly happening in their lives.
Only God is able to judge people righteously.
He sits high and looks low.
Knows what is on the hearts and minds of us all.
We all have our moments.
Things that may be causing us to act in such a way.
That is why we have to question ourselves before we look at anyone else.
None of us live a perfect life.
Keeping in mind that the Lord has told us, “for we shall all stand before the judgement seat of Christ” (Romans 14:10 KJV).
“For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God” (Romans 14:11 KJV).
He was warning us of the need to be more mindful of what we are doing and saying.
“Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother’s way” (Romans 14:13 KJV).
Never forgetting that judgmental attitudes stem from pride.
That they are offensive to the Father.
We should all be operating from the principle of love.
Praying is the Key.
Faith unlocks the doors to our living a good life.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Father, we know that none of us are perfect. We are not to look and judge one another. That we all have our moments. That we all have something that needs correcting in our lives. That judging is a form of pride. One that does not please You. Which is why the Word has told us not to judge or despise one another, That we will have to give an account of our actions. We want to be found as one who is not judging but lending a helping hand. With You we know it is possible.
In Jesus’ Name We Pray, Amen
