Today’s Reading: Psalms 118: 19-29
Today’s Verse: This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it. Psalms 118:24 KJV
Thankfulness is an emotion. Gratitude is a way of expressing thankfulness.
“This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it” (Psalms 118:24 KJV).
God is the Creator and Sustainer of each day. Every day is a gift from Him.
We must be appreciative of life daily. Even when nothing exciting happens.
It calls for a joyful response. We find joy and gladness in recognizing His hand in all things.
“In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you” (1 Thessalonians 5:18 KJV).
The Father has given us so much to be thankful for.
We need to take a moment to reflect on how blessed we are.
God has His hands in all things concerning our lives.
“And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him” (Colossians 3:17 KJV).
Let us stay encouraged to maintain a cheerful outlook in life. Finding joy in our daily lives. Serving the Lord with gladness.
Every day is an opportunity to experience God’s goodness. To offer Him thanks for His blessings.
This is the day that the Lord has made. Rejoice and be glad in it.
Encourage yourself daily to give Him the praise.
Showing Him how thankful we are for being in our lives.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Father, we are grateful for the things You have done. For how You watch over us, both day and night. For allowing us to come to You in prayer. You give us peace. A peace that surpasses all understanding. You give us Words that guide our hearts and our minds. We come to You with praises of thanksgiving. Thanking You for all that You are doing in our lives. Every day is a day of rejoicing. Thanking You for all that You will always do in our lives. Thank You.
