In our childhood days, we were taught what was good and bad behavior.
What the reward or punishment could be coming our way.
Growing into adulthood, life can be more complex.
The consequences of our actions are not always immediate, but are sure to come.
The emotional strain is enough to make us think about all that we are doing.
Those are the times when we need to make the 180 degree turn in our life and go in a better direction.
That turn should be towards the Lord, His will and His ways.
It is a blessing to know that the Lord is gracious merciful and kind.
That even when we do wrong He is slow to anger.
Giving us the opportunity to repent of our sins.
To go in a better direction.
It is great to know that the Lord is with us.
There to help change our lives for the better.
Make the turn.
His direction is so much better.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Savior, we know that repentance is called for throughout Your Word. May we realize that turning from ways that lead us in the wrong direction and turning in the direction that leads to You is the best change we could make. Thank You Lord that our hearts have been changed.
