There has always been a need to take caution in the things we do, believe or say.
Warnings or advise given us to avoid any dangers seen or unseen.
All in an effort to keep us from making mistakes that can have a great impact on our lives.
That’s what the Lord wants us to know and remember.
He is alerting us to the need to be watchful and not give heed to every one that pretends to be of the Spirit.
Just like we read caution labels or instruction manuals, the Lord has provided His Word to instruct us.
The Word teaches and warns us about false prophets who bring a word to please the carnal man.
Be ye watchful of what you believe and be readily able to recognize those who are truly bringing forth the doctrines of the Lord.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Lord, we are thankful that You have cautioned us against giving heed to every one that pretends to be of the Spirit. Recognizing any false prophets that claim to be sent by You. Thank You for the wisdom You bestow on us Lord.
