You Have To Decide

Then David enquired of the LORD yet again. And the LORD answered him and said, Arise, go down to Keilah; for I will deliver the Philistines into thine hand.
1 Samuel 23:4 KJV

We all have many questions in life.

Determining a conclusion or resolution to them can require much thought before taking any action.

Praying and hoping that the outcome will be positive.

David found himself in a situation.

A situation where he kept questioning the Lord on what he should do concerning Saul and the Phillistines.  Praying for an answer.

The Lord answered him.

He then began to look at the alternatives he had before making a final decision of the actions he would take.

When he was done reviewing his decision he took action.

The Lord desires that we come to Him in prayer.

To look at all the options we have. The pros and the cons.

Knowing that no question is difficult for Him to answer but the answer, which is always biblically based,  may be difficult for us to accept.

The Lord is always trying to work out His will for our lives.

We must be willing to listen to the answers He is giving us and take the appropriate actions.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Lord, we all have questions about the things happening in our lives. That decisions  have to made. Making the right one is what we all want.  Help us to exercise faith and patience as we do things according to the knowledge You give us.

In Jesus name we pray, Amen
