A Pardoned Sinner

When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long. Psalms 32:3 KJV

Difficulties, despair, dangers, distress and the results of our own wrongdoings can all feel consuming.

They can slowly drain our hearts of joy and peace.

Our attention and energy are tied up with trying to figure things out.

The true and only way to peace of conscience, is, to confess our sins, that they may be forgiven.

In this passage, David tells of his experiencing the consuming consequences of his sinful choices.

How he lost the energy to do anything.

The same can happen to any of us.

Sin, which can be in thought or deed, is the main cause of our misery.

It should be avoided at all costs.

It is good to know that a true believer’s transgressions of the Divine law can be forgiven.

All because Christ was made a sin-offering for us.

He is why we were reconciled with the Father.

Our characteristics were changed.

We became sincere in our belief.

We seek sanctification of our souls by the power of the Holy Ghost.

As we rest in the Savior, He restores our souls and strengthens us for the next steps of our journey.

He promises to be with us every step of the way.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Father, give us the strength to ensure the hardships of the day. Let us stand on the hope that we receive through the Word. Thank You for being with us on this journey, guiding every step.

In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
