There is nothing like having a loving home.
A special place for our family.
One where we all eat, sleep, and enjoy each other’s company.
As Jesus prepared to go to the cross for us, He showed a true concern about our eternal accommodations.
He told the disciples, “I go to prepare a place for you” (v.2).
Letting them know that there would be plenty of room for them in His Father’s house for all who trusted in Him.
The same holds true for us.
Think of how amazing it will be when we step into the next life.
Seeing that God has taken care of our eternal accommodations too.
We should be praising God for giving us life to the fullest.
Praising Him for being with us now and allowing us to be with Him later in the place He has prepared for us (v.3).
Living in mansions that are lasting dwellings.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Thank You Savior for telling us about the plans the Father has for us. We rejoice and anticipate the forever home You are preparing for us. Happily, telling others about the love You have shown us. And the love You will show us when we reach our Heavenly home. That the same love is theirs. That they too can rejoice and anticipate a forever home. All they have to do is trust and believe.
