Therefore shall ye keep all the commandments which I command you this day, that ye may be strong, and go in and possess the land, whither ye go to possess it. Deuteronomy 11:8 KJV
There are many rules and regulations that have been put into place for all of us to follow.
It is hard to follow at times because the ones who have told us about them may not be following them either.
What we must remember is that no matter what someone else does we are the ones responsible for our actions in the end.
That’s what Moses was explaining to the people.
He was letting them know that in the future, life, and death, all the blessings and the curses would happen as they did or did not keep God’s commandments.
We shorten our days when we sin.
Shortening our days of prosperity.
God desires to bless us with an abundance of all good things.
All we must do is love Him, serve Him, and live according to His Word.
His commands still hold true to this day.
We just need to remain steadfast and follow them.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Father, we tend to set our affections upon things that cause bad things to happen in our lives. If we just keep all Your commandments, we will grow strong in all things. Allowing us to possess all that You have in-store for our lives. All the problems will be easier to bear, and we will receive all Your promised blessings. Blessings that will follow us wherever we go.
