Sometimes our lives are filled with pain and sorrow.
There are times when we aren’t strong, and we need a shoulder to lean on.
We appreciate that we have friends that we can talk too, but they don’t always understand what we are going through.
There are times when they try to be there for us but may not be able to, because of things that are going on in their lives.
It is good to know that there are people in our lives that want to help us in any way they can.
But there is One Friend who will be there always.
That friend is the Lord.
He knows that our cares can be a burden that leads us to sin.
Especially when they come from our unbelief and distrust.
When we humble ourselves and pray, we can cast all our cares on Him.
It will bring great comfort to our souls when we lean on Him.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Father, we are grateful for the grace You give us to be humble. Along with the wisdom and faith we need to live a holy life. We are grateful that we can cast all our burdens on You. That You help us to dispose of them all. Thank You for caring so much about us. A spiritual comfort that we all should desire to have.
