Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. 1 John 4:11 KJV
We all have our own problems, but we should not let it be an excuse not to attempt to show love to one another.
Everyday we see living proof that there are still those that live by the Word when it comes to brotherly love.
They give and give to others and never ask for anything in return.
A lifestyle like this is characteristic of all those who say they know and love God.
The Spirit of God is the Spirit of love.
This is where love had it’s beginning.
Not that we loved God, but that He freely loved us.
The Apostle John had told us, “He who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?” (V.20 NIV).
Can we say we show love to others as we should?
It is something we all need to think about.
When we love God, we hate sin and anything that goes against His will.
Our love should daily want to do His will.
Love is the oil that covers our affections and keeps us in a position to help our brethren.
His Love is shown all over the world.
Nothing is more pleasing than when we show our love for God by showing love to one another.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Father, we know that You are Love. You are there to help us, no matter what we need. By Your example we learn how to love each other the way You have loved us. You have never let us down. Thank You Father.
