Motivation is the desire or willingness of someone to do something. Something that is described by its actions.
Love is one such action that the Lord desires for all of us to show.
Just like we love the Lord Jesus and value His love, we are to love all our brethren in Christ.
The Holy Spirit grieves at selfishness. Leaving a selfish heart without comfort, and full of darkness and terror.
Love is the special fruit of our faith, and a true sign of our being born again.
We know that we are passed from death to life when we commit to heartfelt love and show grace to one another.
This is just the beginning and first principle of a life of glory.
When the need arises, let us honor God by being a willing vessel that offers the love we feel He is calling us to give to someone else.
We never know when this same love may be needed by ourselves or someone we know.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Lord, we know we are showing Your Love when we are willing to help others. We show Your strength when we can take on the tasks You have set before us. Opening our eyes, our hearts and our hands, to the needs of others. May we continue in this way.
