1 King 3:7 KJV
As parents, or someone in a position to help, we are to be examples to our children and those around us.
Helping them to grow and learn what it means to serve and help others.
None of us know how to do everything to make things better, but each of us have a role to play.
As servants of the Lord, He already has a plan in which every little bit each of us can do is helpful.
We are chosen of God and the Lord is our Guide.
Our prayers should be for the wisdom we need to do the things the God has predestined for our lives.
That’s what Solomon, the son of David did.
He had a call on his life, but had his own desires and weaknesses. He was scared because he was young and felt he could not do it.
That’s when he prayed and asked the Lord for the wisdom he needed to be used of God.
He knew he needed Spiritual guidance.
The same holds true for us all.
We all have a call on our lives and are never too young or too old to seek wisdom and knowledge.
God loves us and knows all about our going and comings. What we can or cannot do.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Lord, we know You have plans for our lives long before we even realize what they are. May we openly receive the knowledge and the wisdom we need to carry out our mission in life. Remembering we are never too young or too old to be used of You Lord. That You know what we are capable of and will supply all our needs.
