A vision is defined as an experience of seeing someone or something in a dream. It is describing the future.
When Jacob fled from his brother Esau, he found himself in a strange and lonely place.
As he slept, on the hard ground, he met God in a dream.
In this dream, God promised Jacob a home. That He would give him and his descendants the land on which he lay. That all the people on earth would be blessed through him and his offspring (Genesis 28:13-14).
We are sometimes fleeing from something. A thought or idea we may have but feel we can’t accomplish it. A fear of danger; to step out of our comfort zones.
Jacob was in fear of danger from his brother Esau, and even though he had a long journey before him to an unknown country, God promised to keep him.
Each of us have a fear of what others around us are trying to do, but God has promised to keep us also.
Through any long journey we may have before us. The new endeavors we are about to take. No matter the situation, God is there for us.
Whom God loves; He never leaves.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Lord, no matter where we are today or what we are going through, we Thank You for preparing a way of us. That You are with us no matter where we go or endeavor to do. Thank You for loving us and never leaving us.
In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
