The United Nations defines youth as persons between the ages of 15 and 24.
They also recognize that this varies, without prejudice, to other age groups listed by member states, such as 18–30.
For many the planting of the Word of God in their life started at conception and was continually watered, leading to the time the Lord has predestined for them to lead.
When we look around there are stories of young people who are professing the Word.
Some people feel that they have not lived long enough to be able to spread the Word.
Not so. The Lord desires to use all who are willing to receive the Word and spread it to the world.
The Bible is filled with young, faithful believers who stepped out, despite their age, into a grand adventure with God.
The Lord used them, not because of their age, but because of their hearts.
Think about it, young Christians can be a great example to others, during this stage in their lives when the pressure to conform to what society is doing and the need to fit in is so great.
Thank God for those that choose the better option, trusting in the Word and not being afraid to share it.
Being brave and a prime example of what a relationship with Jesus looks like, is the best decision any of us, young or old, could make.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Lord, let our lives, the way we talk, and all of our conversations, be the prime examples of Your teachings. Let us remain holy, examples of Your love towards all men. Showing that no matter our age, we can be used for Your Glory.
In Jesus name we pray, Amen
