1 John 2:1 KJV
There was an article about successful failures, in which an author by the name of Charles Kettering made the suggestion that we must learn to fail intelligently.
He was quoted as saying, “Once you’ve failed, analyze the problem and find out why, because each failure is one more step leading up to the cathedral of success. The only time you don’t want to fail is the last time you try.”
We should never let a failure be the excuse, to never try again. To be led down a road of sin and shame.
The apostle tells us about the atonement of Christ for help against sinful infirmities. There is no physical or mental weakness He can’t handle.
Christ is our Advocate with the Father. He is the one who has undertaken, and is fully able, to plead for our pardon and salvation.
No matter the failure or sin, we are encouraged to come to God through His all-sufficient atonement.
When we understand and receive the Word, it sets the heart against all sin, and the practice of it.
Confessing it is the first step to creating success out of our failures.
It stops the feeling of failure and gives us a blessed relief.
God can accomplish His purpose through us.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Lord, help us to realize that when we put our Hope and trust in You, we cannot fail. That no matter the sin, if we come to You for forgiveness we can be restored. Knowing that we can benefit from our failures. That through You we have spiritual success.
In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
