2 Corinthians 9:7 KJV
We never know when it might be one of us, a loved one, a friend, even a stranger, who needs a bit of cheer or some sort of assistance.
Being mindful of what we can or cannot do, it is a blessing to be able to give something to someone else. No matter how big or small.
The blessing comes when our giving is from the heart, not because we feel like we are being forced to do it. It is given cheerfully and freely.
Our ability to help someone else is yet another reason to be thanking God for all the blessings He has bestowed upon us and those around us.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Lord, we thank you for the ability to give cheerfully. We know that it is by Your grace and love we know what it truly means. You give us not only enough for ourselves, but also the ability to help others. Let us continue to show, that by following the Word, our cheerful giving reflects all the more, the love You have for us all.
