When I see or hear stories about individuals who are “up in age”, how they are still lifting weights and exercising, how they are up and about dancing, singing, playing with their grands, and those that may not be as mobile but still have the strength to talk and tell life changing stories, it is so inspiring.
This type of strength and mentality is a blessing to all that come in contact with them. A positive influence.
Just like Caleb, who was still in high spirits despite his age, we should let anyone who will hear, that we are not afraid of the enemy but are encouraged by the Word and to press forward in It.
Living by faith and on God’s promises is the strength we need to make it in these times.
No matter our age or physical ability, ask the Lord for the strength, like Caleb had.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Lord, no matter our age or physical ability, let nothing stand in our way of giving You the praise. Let us be a spirited soldier, have the enthusiasm and strength that Caleb had.
