On social media, we see postings about birthdays anniversaries, career advancements, new additions to families, graduations, remembering a loved one that has passed, and a host of other things to celebrate.
There is usually an overwhelming response of love regarding the event that is being celebrated.
Sacrificing time to show love is something we can all do.
Love that comes from the heart is better felt when it is sincere.
The Lord told the disciples to love one another as He loved them.
The Lord was the ultimate example of showing love when He sacrificed Himself, on the cross, for us.
Sacrificed Himself to make up for all the wrong done to God by the sin of man.
When we follow the commandment to love each other like the Lord loves us it is a benefit to others, as well as ourselves.
A benefit that is worth the sacrifice.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Lord as Your Word says in John 15:13, “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” We thank you for being that friend who gave His life to save us all. Help us to continue to walk in this same love by showing love one to another, no matter the situation,
