In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

Every morning that we open our eyes we have a reason to give God thanks.
Counting our blessings one by one.
We have a roof over our heads, food on our tables, family and loved ones all around us.
There are so many things to be thankful for, there is no way to count them all.
But the most important things that we all should be grateful for are the wonderful mercies of God’s redeeming grace.
No matter what we go through, we should give Him praise.
That is what Paul and Silas did (Acts16:16-29).
They were beaten, thrown into prison, and their feet put into stocks.
Through all they had been through, “at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God” (Acts 16:25).
A prime example, that no matter what we are going through, we can still give praise.
That we have so many reasons to rejoice.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Savior, our praises to You should come naturally. You touch and wake us up every day. You put food on our tables and provided all our needs. May we never forget to take the time to count our blessings and truly see all that You have done for us.
