Bottom Line: Wanting to Please, Easier Than You Think

Read: Colossians 1:16-22

For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell.

Colossians 1:19 KJV

Not a day goes by that we don’t have a question that we desire an answer to.

Some are answered quickly, while others may take some time.

Our patience and due diligence help things go smoothly.

That is just the start.

We all have different ways to do research and hope that they give us a better understanding.

During our research we also find that there are many names associated with the topic we are looking at.

The person or persons involved are noted for their input and findings.

When it comes to learning about the things of life, the many situations that can occur, and what the outcome was, can always be found in the Bible.

Jesus is the answer to life’s most troubling questions.

“For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell” (Colossians 1:19 KJV).

Christ as Mediator is the Head of the body, the church.

All our grace and strength are from Him.

Because of our relationship with Him, we have access to everything we need to know when it comes to the key issues regarding sin and guilt and Heaven and Hell.

He gives us knowledge regarding the trials and weaknesses of the body and mind.

He experienced human nature but did not sin (2 Corinthians 5:21 ESV).

His research allowed wise information to be obtained to help a fallen human race.

As things continue to change in our lives, what our Savior has learned and put in the Word does not.

His loving guidance still remains the same.

God is still pleased with all that the Lord has done.

It is now up to us to receive and believe all the time and effort He put into making us whole.

That no matter the hard times we face, to let the name of the Lord be our strong tower (Proverbs 18:10 KJV).

As we live a life of righteousness, we can always run to Him, find everything we need and feel safe.

We were created by and for Him.

We were made by His power, according to His pleasure and for His praise and glory.

By His Word we will always receive the support we need.

Stay frequent in prayer.

Always abounding in holy duties.

We want to please the Father too.

Our relationship with Christ is the answer.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Father, no matter the question or situation we face in life, Christ is the best source of information. He has the answer to everything we need to research on this journey called life. Things are constantly changing. But the Word of the Lord, does not. He gives us the peace of mind we desire. We are thankful for all the true, never-changing knowledge we can receive. Thank You for the Blessed example that the Savior gives to us. For the guidance You provide 24 hours a day. We want our lives to be pleasing to You Father.

In Jesus’ Name We Pray, Amen
