The life we choose to live each day prepares us for what is yet in store for us.
The same holds true when we take the time to read and listen to what the Lord is telling us.
It is preparing us for what is yet to come, when we live according to His Words.
The Bible tells us that Heaven will be different from life on earth.
A place of peace, love, and worship.
In this passage, the apostle saw four living creatures.
They were between the throne and the circle of the elders.
They were standing between God and the people.
Which seemed to signify the true ministers of the gospel.
This was also a symbol for wisdom, courage, diligence and discretion.
The feelings by which they ascended toward Heaven.
Heaven being the place where angels and the redeemed live in the presence of God in all His glory.
Heaven is a prepared place for a prepared people.
Each day we should be striving to be in that number.
Keeping our focus on worshiping and praising the Lord both day and night.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Lord, we want to be prepared for Heaven. We know this will only happen when we show our love for You while we still live here on earth. Every day and night we will proclaim that You are “Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come.” Thank You for everything You are doing for us Lord.
