It is not uncommon for anyone to have a set of goals they wish to achieve.
Most of us have been there.
To accomplish them, we had to face some challenges.
These challenges can occur in our relationships, friendships or businesses.
We even face struggles within ourselves.
This is where trying hard to achieve them becomes the challenge.
Staying united in any situations in life is the key.
It gives us the ability to face the challenges and accomplish our goals.
Of course we know it can be difficult, but we have to try to come to some form of agreement to keep the peace.
No one wants to be in a position where there is constant fighting and tension.
That is why positive communication is important.
Unity is a commandment of God.
He wants us all to be on one accord.
Prayer is the key to us finding unity.
Strengthening each other in labor, resting on each other in sorrow and caring for each other in sickness is what brings about the harmony that we need.
Without prayer, we can never have it.
Instead, we will continue to engage in tension-producing arguments.
Causing our relationships to become ones of selfishness and distrust.
When we should be having constructive communication, unity and peace.
We have to remember that when nothing seems to be going right, there is still someone else in whom all believers can find unity.
A mediator who is always in our midst.
That is Christ.
He is the One, that when we pray together, we will learn how to build on our relationships.
A strong foundation that allows us to add to the relationship, in a positive way, with Him and those around us.
A “unity foundation” made of trust, respect and understanding.
Always, “endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.”
A WORD OF PRAYER
Lord, help us to find unity. Knowing that when we do, we will find a place in our lives of joy and Spiritual delight. A place of loving and warm communion, not combat. Thank You Lord.
In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
