Called To Peace

And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful. Colossians 3:15 KJV

The world is full of give and take situations.

Changes are being made every day.

We don’t always agree with them.

What we must do is learn how to make changes in a peaceful way.

A ways that will help us achieve the desired results.

It can be done, we must be willing to give up some of what we want or find a way to make things work together.

When we do, we come to a peaceful conclusion.

Peace is manifested in the way we think and in our souls.

It is also reflected in our social and worldly ways.

The Lord desires that we all live in peace.

A peace that is shown through mutual love, patience, and forgiveness.

He knows that we are not always going to agree, that is why He has given us instructions on how to do things.

Doing no hurt to anyone but doing what is good for all is the best way to accomplish this.

Teaching us how to rely on each other to make it happen.
For any of us to grow and flourish, we must be in a relationship filled with love and peace.

It is not hard to make this happen.
Our relationship with the Lord makes it possible.

That is why Paul’s letter to the believers in Colasse was telling them to do this.

Reminding them that we are to clothe ourselves with “compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience” (v.12).

That those who are the elect of God, holy and beloved, ought to be lowly and compassionate towards all.

It is not always easy to live in peace.

Especially with the way the world is now.

We are to forgive each other and live in peace as members of one body.

The Spirit empowers us to exhibit humility and forgiveness in our relationships.

The soul prospers when we are full of the Scriptures and of the grace of Christ.

It is our reminder of the need for peace, personally and spiritually.

We are to be thankful and let the peace of God rule in our hearts.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Lord, fill us with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience towards one another. Thank You for showing us how to pursue peace and acknowledge our relationship with You, so others can see Your love too.

In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
