The Valley Journey

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Psalms 23:4 KJV

When we think about death, we naturally think about physically dying.

The Lord wants us to know that there are many low moments that we will go through.

Moments that can cause us to die spiritually.

That there is a power in these moments which can destroy the life we were meant to live here on earth.

It is the power of doubt and temptation.

When set before us, they can cause us to go in the wrong direction.

We begin to wonder: Will we trust more in what the world says, or will I be better off doing things according to His Word?

When we do not trust in the Lord, we make it possible for sin to prevail even more in our lives.

Those are the times we must remember that no matter the valley we find ourselves in the Lord is with us.

We need to put our trust in the Shepherd’s care and hearken to His voice, which leads us to a life of Heavenly Blessings.

Our past experiences will teach us to trust that the goodness and mercy of God is more powerful than any “walk in the valley. “

Fear not, the Lord is there to protect and comfort us every day.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Lord, no matter the darkest valley we walk through, let it be our desire and determination, to seek happiness in You. Thank You Savior for always being there for us.

In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
