Peace-Filled Hearts

A sound heart is the life of the flesh: but envy the rottenness of the bones. Proverbs 14:30 KJV

There are times we enjoy accomplishing things and being recognized for them.

But there will be times that we don’t get the recognition we desire.

It feels like our living is in vain.

We feel like no one is listening.

Those are the times we need to maintain a positive attitude.

Because when we don’t it can bring about behavior that is unsatisfactory.

We must keep in mind, that just because someone did not compliment us, it doesn’t mean our efforts weren’t appreciated.

That they did not receive what the Lord had for them.

We are not to let the disappointment we feel turn into something that causes us more harm than good.

The Lord has put us in a position to be a blessing to someone.

The fact that He knows, and is pleased with what we have done, should be recognition enough.

A sound heart is what gives us life. It projects a sense of peace.

A sense of peace that comes when we live according to the Word.

We need to be all that the Lord has called us to be.

A servant that is honorable, happy about their role in life, and kindhearted.

We are the hope for the world.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Lord, let us not be tempted to focus on the acknowledgments we do not receive. Let us focus on the things which You have given us and bring You glory. Thank You for giving us the ability to have a heart filled with peace and so much more.

In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
