God knows what He has designed us for.
Even though we may not know what those services may be or the trials we may face, He will take care that we are furnished with grace sufficient to carry us through.
Gracious souls are more affected by the tender mercies of the Lord, than by their terrors.
The Lord knows them that are His.
Elijah found Elisha by Divine direction.
He was not in the schools of the prophets, not reading, or praying, or sacrificing, but in the field, plowing.
No matter our status in life, or in the world, it does not put us out of the way of our heavenly calling, any more than it did Elisha.
His heart was touched by the Holy Spirit, and he was ready to leave all to follow Elijah.
Though many of us are not called to be full time missionaries as Elisha, God still wants all of us to follow Him.
Serving God can be thrilling and challenging, but He has equipped us to be His missionaries.
To serve Him no matter where He has placed us, near or far, at home or abroad.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Lord, may we, like Elisha, feel the energy of Your grace working in us mightily. Show us how to serve You, no matter where we are. Letting our calling be a blessing to the kingdom.
In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
