Psalms 121:2 KJV
It is always great to listen to readings or music that give inspiration.
Psalms 121 begins with a personal confession of faith. A trust in the Lord who brought all things into existence. The One who is the source of the psalmist’s and our help.
The Lord provides us with around-the-clock care. He is a constant source of protection.
He protects our souls. Keeping us from the things that would cause us to sin,
He protects us from perishing eternally.
God’s people, throughout the ages, have relied on the Scriptures and acknowledged the Lord as their source of help through their songs and writings.
My own worship experience includes lifting my voice with others who sing soulful songs and giving testimonies of His Goodness.
Whenever we feel alone, abandoned or confused, think about the lyrics of Psalms 121. Allow the words to fill your soul with faith and courage.
The Spirit is our Protector and Comforter.
Let us be found in our work, assured that the blessings promised in this Psalms are ours.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Father, we are forever grateful that the Scripture, songs and testimonies remind us that You are our source of help. May we never forget that You are the Master of the universe and tell others that You are the helper in all we do.
