Every object we behold gives us a reason to bless and praise the Lord. He is great and His eternal powers are clearly shown by the things which He hath made.
God is light, and in Him there is no darkness. The Lord Jesus, the Son of His love, is the Light of the world.
When we reflect upon the provisions He has made for all creatures, we should also notice the natural worship that should be rendered to God.
We should not be forgetful and ungrateful, regarding the Creator’s kindness. Nor forget the spiritual blessings, the fruitfulness of the church through grace, the salvation He gives, and the bread of everlasting life.
The psalmist wonders at the works of God. How we are all made in wisdom, for we all answer the One we were designed to serve.
Every day, the various ways of His works are set before us. In wisdom He has made them all and the earth is full of His riches.
When we look at all the beautiful things He has created, let us rejoice and thank the Lord sending forth His Spirit, allowing us to receive Him and newly-create our souls to holiness.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Heavenly Father, creatures change, but Your glory is everlasting. Help us to reflect on the wonders of Your works and meditate on them with thankfulness and gratitude. Giving You all the praise for the things You have done.
