Things happen in our lives, making it hard for us to trust or praise the Lord.
But when our situations feel unbearable and we feel like we can’t go on, we have to remember that God is ever present to comfort us.
He strengthens us and reassures us of His unchanging goodness, unlimited power, and sustaining grace.
Satin will always try to make us feel like we are alone.
When we are tempted to doubt the abilities of the Lord, we should be encouraged by the determination and faith that Shadrach, Meshack and Abednego.
They had to keep the faith when King Nebuchadnezzar threw them in jail and ultimately wanted to have them put to death.
He put them in a fiery furnace, but could not kill them, because of their faith in God was greater than anything they were facing.
They worshiped and trusted God, despite of their situation and He was there to show their faith in Him was true.
We all have faced, and will face, trying times. We must remember that God does not leave us alone either.
He remains by our sides through all our trials.
No matter the furnace, we should have a testimony. A testimony that we can rely on the constant and loving presence of God, no matter what it looks like.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Savior, even if our suffering does not end on this side of eternity, let us remember that God is and always will be mighty, trustworthy, and good. We can always rely on His caring and loving presence.
