PRAYER WARRIORS

Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him.  Acts 12:5 KJV

Prison for us can come in many ways.

It is a state of confinement or captivity.

A typical form of confinement, is usually a locked room of sorts, usually a jail, and monitored by a guard.

A confinement in which we let someone or something else keep or restrict us from doing something.

A captivity in which the condition gives us the feeling of being trapped in our situation.

Peter found himself in the situation of imprisonment, bound by chains between two soldiers, with guards at the door and not sure if he would survive.

Because of his fellowship and the love he shared with those around him, they kept him in constant prayer.

Prayers that reached God to the point He sent the angels to assist in his being freed.

Prayers that freed him to go to the house of Mary, the mother of John, where they had gathered for prayer and tell them to spread the word of how the Lord brought him out of prison.

It was God’s plan and a miracle, that until the followers of Peter truly looked at him and heard him speak, did not believe it was him.

That’s His plan for us too.

We are to keep each other in prayer and watch Him perform the miracles predestined for our lives.

Remember James 5:16 KJV tells us, “The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.”

Keep praying for each other and watch the miracles of the Lord come to light in our lives.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Dear Lord:  No matter the prison we find ourselves in, we thank You for directing us to continue to pray for each other, to watch and acknowledge the miracles You are performing in each of our lives.  We thank You for  the Word, our only true solution to any situation we find ourselves in. Help us continue to follow Your leading.

In Jesus Name, Amen
